2026-07-17 | AMENDED complaint by Disney Enterprises, Inc. against ROCKKI
2026-07-20 | MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: This case has been assigned to Judge LaShonda A. Hunt. In light of Plaintiff's notice of withdrawal [13], Plaintiff's motion to seal [3] is withdrawn, and the Clerk is directed, forthwith, to unseal the document at [2]. By 8/11/26, Plaintiff is ordered to file a status report proposing next steps in this case, if no other appropriate relief has been sought by that date. Mailed notice (gel,)
2026-07-22 | MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Upon review of Plaintiff's amended complaint [14], the Court questions whether Plaintiff has sufficiently alleged that the Court may exercise personal jurisdiction over Defendant. To adequately plead personal jurisdiction, Plaintiff must sufficiently allege that Defendant actually sold the allegedly infringing product to a customer in Illinois. See Liu v. Monthly, 170 F.4th 1090, 1093-1094 (7th Cir. 2026) (citing Curry v. Revolution Lab'ys, LLC, 949 F.3d 385, 400 (7th Cir. 2020)). Plaintiff's amended complaint alleges sales in this district, but those allegations are conclusory and Plaintiff did not provide proof of actual sales in this district. See id. (remanding with instructions to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction because plaintiff had not provided screenshot evidence of actual sales in Illinois). Accordingly, Plaintiff has not sufficiently alleged that the Court has personal jurisdiction over Defendant and must file proof of actual sales in Illinois by 7/29/26. Failure to do so will result in the amended complaint being dismissed without prejudice and this case being closed. Mailed notice (gel,)

2026-07-27 | NOTICE of Motion by Martin Francis Trainor for presentment of motion for miscellaneous relief[17] before Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 8/5/2026 at 09:00 AM.
| 19 | 2026-07-28 | MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiff has provided evidence that Defendant sold the allegedly infringing product to a customer in Illinois [17-2], so the Court's personal jurisdiction concerns are now resolved. Plaintiff's motion for leave to conduct expedited discovery [17] is granted because the Court finds that expedited discovery is warranted to obtain Defendant's contact information. Enter Order Authorizing Expedited Discovery. The motion hearing set for 8/5/26 [18] is stricken. If no other relief has been sought, Plaintiff is ordered to file a status report by 8/18/26 updating the Court on the progress of expedited discovery and proposed next steps in the case.
