| 17 | 2026-10-16 | MEMORANDUM by B&O Play A/S, Bang & Olufsen A/S Establishing that Joinder is Proper |
| 18 | 2026-10-23 | ORDER: The Court has reviewed Plaintiffs' supplemental memorandum [21] in response to the Court's minute entry [20] sua sponte raising the issue of joinder. For the reasons stated herein, the Court concludes that these thirteen defendants are misjoined. If Plaintiffs intend to proceed against all of these defendants, their claims must be asserted in no fewer than ten separate cases. Plaintiffs may join Defendants 1 and 8 in one suit, Defendants 4 and 5 in a second, and Defendants 9 and 10 in a third. The others must be sued individually. By November 13, 2026, Plaintiffs may submit a proposed severance order, consistent with the reasoning and conclusions expressed herein, to the Court's proposed order email inbox (Proposed_Order_Alonso@ilnd.uscourts.gov). If Plaintiffs fail to submit a proposed severance order, this case may be dismissed for want of prosecution. Signed by the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso on 10/23/2026. Notice mailed by Judge's staff |
